As a network marketer, you want to continue to build your business. One of the ways you can do this is to increase traffic to your website. This in turn can result in your getting targeted and qualified prospects to build a relationship with. Here are 6 strategies you can use to attract traffic to your network marketing website and in return explode your business!1. Submit articles directly to other sites. Getting high quality links to your site is huge. Ideally, you want links from authority sites. This means sites that have a lot of links to them. One way to do this is to write expert articles and get them published on related websites. The search engines views these links much more importantly than a boring link which is just one of dozens on a page in a little tiny directory on a mini-site.2. Submit your articles to archived newsletters online. A good way to do this so you won't bother publishers who are already swamped with offers and to avoid the competition in some niches, is to build a relationship with a specific publisher first. You see, if you have a relationship and if you are prepared to write an article EXCLUSIVELY for one newsletter, your offer will be much more impressive. Make sure you subscribe and study each newsletter before you do this. Also, study the online archives. This will help make your offer more real as well as useful.3. Use your online profile wisely. By this, I mean to always include your keywords in your online profiles. Whenever you create a profile, whether it be in places such as Direct Matches, Myspace, blogs, forums, etc., always use carefully chosen keywords. This will increase the chance that people will find you by the search engines or the particular site's facility.4. Crank out those newsletters! Publish a lively newsletter to send to your list of MLM prospects about once a week. This is a good way to boost repeat traffic to your site. A newsletter reminds reader that your site is still alive and well! You can encourage your prospects to return by telling them about new articles you have added to your site. You can also remind them of what they are missing, a survey you may be running on your site, a special report you know have, etc. The list goes on and on. Use whatever you can to keep them interested!5. Submit your newsletter to newsletters directories. You can search Google for phrases such as ezine directories, ezine directory, newsletter directory, newsletter directories, etc. Once you find them, submit your newsletter. Now, keep in mind this is time consuming and you probably won't get a hoard of traffic, but it is a technique you can use get more backlinks and some traffic. Every little bit counts, right? If you have the money, you could also hire someone to do this for you.6. Publish fresh content on your site. For something like this, you likely will need to create your own min-site, separately from your main MLM affiliate website. This can be done easily by using the free Google page creator tool. What you would do is publish articles on your site and then invite other sites to publish them on their sites with a link to you. Many websites make it simple for other sites to reprint their articles. What you would usually see at the end of their articles is permission to print as long as you include the article's resource box with the author's information.
There are numerous ways to get traffic to your network marketing website. Using the right strategies that will work for you can result in increased traffic, which, in turn, will build your business! Why not ramp up those traffic-generating strategies now?

10 Sure-Fire Ways to Market Your MLM Offline
You and most other people involved in MLM know the ideal way to build your home business is not only online, but offline as well. Offline marketing is another word for building your business through your local market. Here are ten effective strategies you can use today to market your MLM offline.1. Donate a high selling product from your business to your local Radio Station; they have numerous contests and are always looking for sponsors! This gets even better when you realize that your donation can be written off as a tax deduction, plus you get free advertising and business exposure for your donation!2. Call your local Chamber of Commerce and find out about job fairs that will be in your city or county. Get a booth and set up information about your fantastic MLM opportunity!3. Are there local colleges in your area? If so, great! Call the college or university and find out when their next job/employment fair is. Many times you can get a booth or table very inexpensively ( $30 or less). You can get a lot of great new prospects at events such as this.4. Just about every area has a local gym. So, what an ideal place to target especially if you sell nutritional and health products! You can get a table space for $20 or less in most cases. Make sure you have three to five products on display, some free samples, plenty of business cards, and fliers. The free samples will be attracting folks like crazy who are starving after their hard workout like!5. Make sure you network with others in your community who are in home businesses. Find out what events and activities that they participate in. They are good resources to assist you in getting started as you begin to network in your community.6.Take advantage of all those lunch breaks! Contact companies in your area to see if you can come in and set up a table in the employee lounge or cafeteria. You know, the areas where people congregate when taking a break. These days a lot of companies will allow you to do this if you just ask.7. Do you have a local cable TV channel in your area that allows business people to advertise? I know I do in mine. You can inquire about advertising. Did you realize an ad on a cable channel could potentially reach thousands of potential buyers for you? It would be best to use your MLM website address for these types of advertising and not your personal home address.8.Make good use of those small hometown newspapers! Many people do not get a good response when they do a big newspaper ad unless they do a solo ad, display ad, or something along those lines. But, target a small hometown newspaper and you can see your response greatly increase! What you can also do is to inquire about getting your ads on specific pages in the newspaper that targets the group of people in your MLM niche.9. Pizza anyone? Every town has a pizza place. Contact your local pizza shops, diners, deli's, and coffee bagel shops to ask them about advertising on their paper placements. Customers do read those ads!
10. Summer is fast approaching. Why not take your MLM home business on the road? Contact your local area parks and community centers to see what their schedule of events are and inquire about setting up a booth or table. As you can know see, there are numerous highly effective offline marketing strategies you can for your MLM business. Pick a few and get going growing your prospect base!

Keep The System On Your Mind Let Your Business Make The Money
Most home businesses don't know how to make money online... this is because they haven't learned how to add value to network relations. These home business owners need to learn that their survival is based on helping others. Not the other way around by promising more and providing less just to put some immediate cash in your pocket. Remember short term gain is less valuable than long term success.Maybe you became someone's short term gain by joining a program and suddenly realized you were alone without the support you were promised. And if you were lucky enough to sign up someone, they were just as inexperienced as you or worse. Then you perpetuated the problem by not being able to help them make money that you yourself didn't know how to make. You may have then gotten discouraged and moved on to another program looking for that proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.Trying to make money on the Internet without a workable system is like gambling in the Los Vegas casinos, "never have so few taken so much from so many". You won't win because the odds of winning are against you if you don't have a ready made organization of hundreds or thousands of people that trust and believe in you. If you don't have those loyal followers in your down-line, and a system that works with your experience level you will loose money every time. Now how will you know when to invest your time and money in a business opportunity that will give you a fighting chance of making money? First you need a system that almost anyone can follow... one that even a newbie can understand, with a step-by-step plan to success. Next you need to have the following key components in place.1. A stable company. 2. A legitimate product or service. 3. A quick income pay structure. 4. Your ability to do the math that adds all this up.Beware of the Duplication Myth:
Now here's a secret to wealth in network marketing. The next time an up-line program trainer or sponsor tells you to duplicate... Run for the nearest restroom and get sick. Because that word, duplicate, is the reason why most net-workers fail. That's right; if people change their thinking from Duplicate to Delegate they will start making the kind of money they got into business for in the first place. It doesn't matter what type of home business it is, 95% of the owners fail because they were taught to duplicate. So If You're Duplicating Your are Using a Concept That Produces 95% Failure, period. Since you are the CEO of your home business you can change that mindset and begin to Delegate.Ok, you may agree that delegation is the way to go. But you're in a small home business, and can't afford to hire salespeople, customer service people, marketing people, trainers etc.First of all you're small because you've been duplicating, next, you can build a team without having to hire, train and take on extra expenses. Here's how just such a system can work for you.Imagine this:. You spend 30 minutes to an hour a day managing your online lead generation system.. The system generates a daily stream of prospects.. You forward the prospects to your sales staff. They call your prospect, invite them to look at your business, and make the follow-up call to answer questions and close the prospect on joining your business.. You get an email or phone call notifying you of your new down-line member.Or this:. The phone rings and its one of your salespeople, you like this guy because he makes you a lot of money, he's calling to say he just closed another sale for you.. Next, your system automatically sends your new down-line member instructions to plug into company live training where you have experts training your people. You might drop in once a week to answer questions. You also have a toll free number your people can call for support and you have a support staff to handle all that for you. That's how it works when you use a system that delegates and not one duplicating failure.

Automating Your Home Business
Running your own home business can be both a blessing and a curse. Truth be told, almost everyone has advice for how you should run things, react to situations, and how to spend your time and money. One common theme is to automate absolutely everything possible, using the reasoning that you will need to "get on with things" and grow your business. While this holds some truth... it is not entirely factual.Any home business will have a front end, and a back end. Now, when you start your venture, you will begin to realize that everything takes time to do... and some things take even more time to get done right. Always have a vision of what your front end will look like: what will the customer see, what will draw them in, what is the initial offer, are the graphics matching the copy writing, is the offer attractive in appearance, and so on. Once done, this will likely stay pretty static - especially if it's working to make sales! So, after it's set - you are free to hand any small modifications off to be done by someone else... investing your newly found "free" time toward growing your business. Now, to address the back end. Once your offer has been snatched up by hungry customers, you have the opportunity to offer a secondary product... this is your back end. Planning the delivery and execution of this offer is usually much quicker than the front end work. However, this still requires your own personal touch. The back end is the easiest way to grow your profits... you simply contact the customer with another, similar offer. Your cost to market and attract the customer is zero - as you've already acquired them as a customer. You simply want to match the customer's desires with a product which you can supply... this cannot be automated, but the processes around sending the offer and processing the payment can definitely be automated. It's the personality within the offer which can never be automated.Automation can make your communication with the customer easier, and it can make the payment processing easier... this can be seen almost every time. However, the personal matching of customer desires with the perfect product... along with a superior offer cannot be automated - it require human feeling and emotion. So, yes - do automate what you can. But, after the automation is done, be sure to inject emotion and feeling into your business - as this will grow your business more than anything else possibly could.

Being a Home Based Internet Reseller
If you like the concept of a retail store without a retail space and you have a little start up money, you may want to become a reseller. What a reseller does is purchase items in bulk, at a discounted wholesale price, then turn around sell those items at a retail cost. The difference is your profit. Some resellers use eBay as their sales outlet, others set up their own websites. But before you think of going this route there are things you need to consider. Know the product. Many people make the mistake of learning how to purchase items at a wholesale price, and go crazy. They are so excited by the low cost, they don't always consider what they are buying, or how they are going to advertise and sell it, and may end up with a spare bedroom full of last year's fashionable toys that no one wants. The items you resell should be things you know about, are familiar with, and can write a convincing sales pitch for.Research the markets. Before you write a big check for a bulk shipment of items, you need to be relatively confident that you can sell those items in a timely manner once they arrive. The longer they sit around, the more money you are losing on your investment. You may want to watch eBay sales for items similar to those you want to sell. Are the auctions hopping? Are people clamoring to get their hands on the item? Or are the listings ending without any bids? Also check out other websites selling the same types of items. What is their price point? Is it comparable to what you had planned on selling your items for? Getting wholesale items. There are a number of sources where you can acquire wholesale items to begin your reselling business. One option is the same place you may be selling them on eBay. eBay has a wholesale section on the left side of their main page where you can purchase items in bulk for reduced costs. Another online source for wholesale items is a website called Liquidation. This is a website that offers boxes, pallets, and even truckloads of items to the highest bidder. A note of caution on this site though, some of the items are returns, meaning the item may not be in the best condition, so read the description carefully. If you prefer seeing the things you are going to sell in person before you buy them, you can always register to attend a gift show. You can do a Google search for companies like 'GLMshows'. These are only for trade professionals, so you will need to have a reseller Tax ID number from your state in order to complete the registration process.Starting your own reselling store is not impossible, but to make it successful, you need to do a little up front research and know what to sell and how best to keep the items moving.

Succeeding Online In Network Marketing
Network marketing can help you achieve a good income and success. There is still some confusion as to just what network marketing is and how it benefits a business, but that can be easily cleared up. While generally associated with MLM businesses because the payouts tend to occur on several levels, network marketing is a generic term that addresses several areas of direct sales and MLM. In the interest of internet business, a person markets their product or service to others and signs on others to sell that product or service then both parties receive a commission. Network Marketing is not a Pyramid SchemeSome people confuse network marketing with a pyramid scheme. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Network marketing is a legitimate business, while pyramid schemes are illegal. Network marketing allows you to provide others with the opportunity to increase their wealth, achieve success and build their own business. This is a real opportunity to sell real products or services and make real money. On the other hand, pyramids are based on taking advantage of people and someone has to lose money in order for someone else to make money. While network marketing helps people expand and capitalize their own skills, talents and efforts, pyramids exploit people's skills and talents and leaves them with nothing. Why Internet Marketing Skills are Needed for Success If you are going to have an online business and you want it to be successful, you have to market it. In other words, you need to drive traffic to your site and get sign ups. Internet marketing skills are easy, but do require a certain amount of good sense. As you work your marketing plan, you will need to tweak and modify it as you learn what works and what doesn't. You will need to evaluate your own practices and even the marketing campaigns of other companies to get ideas. You will need to understand how internet marketing works to understand how it will work for you - and create your marketing plan accordingly. Some key skills - traffic & conversionTwo key skills in network marketing are in building traffic and in converting visitors to customers. You want to find viable and legitimate methods of driving traffic to your website and you want to make that traffic relevant so that once it arrives at your site the visitors are converted to customers. These skills are vital to your success in internet marketing. This is what will drive your site's success and increase your income from the site. There are other aspects to network marketing, but these are the key skills that you need to know and need to learn how to tweak and modify until you find a strategy that works for you.Brief explanation of a few skills
There are ways to drive traffic to your site. Even something as simple as putting a link to your site in your email signature can generate traffic. If you create a blog that has subject matter that is similar to your topic, you can use it as a way to increase interest in your site as well as draw relevant traffic to your site. When these people are drawn to your blog because of the content, they will want to know more and are very likely to go on to your website. Other ways to draw relevant traffic which will translate to conversions is to post to relevant forums and newsgroups as well as on social networks such as MySpace and Tagged.Master these for online successThe method that you use for your network marketing will be different with each product, service and customer type that you try to reach. Mastering just one type of network marketing is not going to be effective for long term marketing or for expansion. You can concentrate on one method of marketing at a time, but learn more than just one method. If you currently use social networking and forum posting as the primary method of marketing your site, try learning about blogging and article marketing as well. Niche marketing is another great way to promote your site. At some point, you will likely find it necessary to invest a little money in your promotional methods. Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Engine Marketing are two very popular marketing strategies that do require a little investment. Play it smart and learn as much about network marketing as you can and you will find success and increased wealth.

So What Makes YOU So Different?
When I first begin to work with a new client I ask them one simple question, so what makes you different from your competition? The usual response I get from 99.9% of business owners is: We provide better customer service or our product is better quality. This response is returned with such pride and they truly do not understand why they get minimal phone calls from their advertising. The next thing I do is grab a copy of the Yellow Pages and open it to the relevant section that their business is advertised under and show them, look every one else is saying the same thing. Gues what? Your website is no different. And most the ads in the Yellow Pages are name, rank and serial number style ads, you might as well just photo copy your business card and stick it in there. But the truth of the matter is that the business owner has absolutely no idea of how to differentiate themselves from their competition. Now better service or better quality are just fluff words in my opinion. They mean nothing, especially to a new prospective client, all they are concerned with is: What's in it for me? Or what deal can I get? This is where most advertising falls down. Even though when you look deep enough into a business they actually do in fact have real differences, the problem is they don't advertise it.So you see your USP, that stands for Unique Selling Proposition or similar words to that effect. This basically means what makes you stand out from the crowd.I'll give you an example to make this more clear: A driving school I worked with had their USP as; You Learn Stress FREE Or You Don't Pay, GUARANTEED! They surveyed their client base and found this to be the number one frustration their current students were experiencing, so they built a guarantee around it.What can you do in your business? Now that may seem a bit scary to some people at face value but once you investigate their stats, they came into the market place of 200 competitors in their local area.Once they started promoting this ad, they grew within 18 months to be the 2nd place behind the market leaders who had been established for 56 years. Why?
Because they offered a real difference, everyone else was saying the same thing: We offer the best service, but these guys backed it up with proof and said we are willing to put our money where our mouth is and if your not happy then we will refund your money. And the best part is, that out of 3000 students they taught over that period only 3 people asked for their money back, and they charged about $10 more per lesson than the other 198 Driving Schools they were competing against. So you can now see the power of differentiation when used effectively. Now the next question is: What are you doing in your business that makes you different from everyone else? Once you work that out, advertise it everywhere.

Effective Training Techniques Through Involvement
Distributor involvement is the key to effective downline training. Distributors attending training are preoccupied with their own thoughts and problems. Some are willing to learn and some are not. There are those who are open to new ideas and others who resist. How can you get them involved so that they can take ownership of their own learning during the training?1. Put Yourself In The Learners' ShoesWhen delivering training, there is course content to be covered. While this is important, priority has to be given to the fact that the learners are able to receive your content. What better way than to put yourself into the learners' shoes and ask yourself a few questions that these learners have when attending training:- What is this session about?- Will it be of use to me?- How can I apply this to the real world?- What motivates me to attend this session?- Is the content delivered in an easy and simple way?- Are different teaching methods involved or is it a boring lecture?Answering these questions to yourself will help you better prepare to deliver effective training.2. Assessing Learner NeedsChecking out on learner needs is essential to get learner involvement. This task could be difficult due to time or information constraints. However, it is important and some kind of assessment will make a difference. Some points for investigating learner needs are as follows:- How many participants will be attending the session?- How long have they been involved?- What are their skill levels as applicable to the training subject?- How will the training affect their current or future income generating prospects?
If this investigation is not possible before the training session, then when the session starts, it is a good idea to request the participants to introduce themselves and to mention what they would like to achieve from the training session.3. Communicate With Your LearnersCommunicating the objectives and program outline to the course attendees before the session will help them prepare for the training. Properly written, this communication can also be used to motivate the learners such that they will have a positive outlook towards the training. If this is not done for some reason, then it is important that this be done at the start of the training.Communication is two ways. Therefore, feedback from the learners must be somehow incorporated into the training. This is extra work. It will be much easier to just deliver the content as is, but the purpose of the training is to enable the learner via effective training, not just delivering content.4. Switch On The LearnersHowever well you may be prepared to deliver the session, if the learners are not switched on, the training will not be very effective. Switched on learners will be ready to receive content, which means there is a need to conduct activities to achieve this.Switching on activities include creative opening exercises that develop positive first impressions, which are crucial to gaining learner commitment. These warm up activities are learner-centered and content-relevant. The intent is to get learner involvement and for the trainer to develop relationships with the learners. These are not the same as icebreakers, which are usually used to entertain and energize learners. When people arrive for the training, they are probably still preoccupied with their own problems and thoughts. The warm up exercises will also be a means of addressing this.Training can be made effective with some extra effort in getting involvement and hence ownership for the training. You will find that the extra work pays off because you will find the session much more satisfying and feedback from the attendees will be positive.
